Spring Mechanisation, VWS Export success!
May 2011, VWS Export from Broek op Langedijk held its first Spring Mechanisation which was set up larger compared to the previous open greenhousedays last years. In the greenhouse, the visitors could see 550 different lilies that were planted. New this year were more than 120 vases submitted by leading breeding companies. The visitors could view their own varieties an compare with those of other breeders with the latest innovations on lilium breeding.
 The more than 600 visitors made comparisons, talked to colleagues and VWS staff about possible opportunities for the future. All together for all parties a productive and successful day. For next year, preparations have already begun and VWS will present themselves with a larger structure and more extensive lily show.
Production and Technology on 1 place 
In a large tent a real trade floor was made. There was a great diversity of more than 40 suppliers in the industry together with an extensive catering.
For suppliers, this day was successful. For next year, almost all suppliers already pledged. "The stands were well attended and the organisation was perfect" said most exhibitors.
